SCHOLARSHIPS

 

 

Historical Background

Since 1957, the Kiwanis Club of Cheboygan has been offering scholarships to Cheboygan High School students to further their education. These scholarships are given to students who have a desire to further their education at a college, university or trade school and have shown a willingness to become involved within the community.
 

 

There are 3 $1500 scholarships available from the Kiwanis Club of Cheboygan Foundation, totaling $4500. They are open to any Cheboygan student attending a college, university or trade school and current Cheboygan seniors that will be attending a college, university or trade school.
 

 

• The attached application must be filled out, including the 2 essay questions.
• 2 Letters of recommendation are required for current high school seniors; current college students do not need to submit letters of recommendation.
• The deadline for application is March 30.
 

 

Scholarship recipients must send a copy of their fall semester grades to cheboygankiwanis@gmail.com or to Cheboygan Kiwanis, PO Box 324, Cheboygan, MI 49721. The student must earn at least nine credits with at least a 2.0 GPA for First semester.
